Do-It-Yourself Products and Materials

White Aluminum & Windows DIY materials are the same quality that we sell and install. As a general rule, most materials are provided in lengths and sizes that come from the manufacturer and not cut to size and lengths of your project unless otherwise agreed upon and paid for in advance. DIY projects are ideal for highly skilled DIY homeowners and licensed contractors, and NOT for the DIY novice or handyman.

The most common DIY projects include but are not limited to Carports, Patio Covers, Screen Rooms, Lanai Enclosures, Patio Enclosures with Composite Roof. Permits may be required to build structures, add electricity or plumbing or expand air conditioned space of your home. Such permits are the responsibility of the contractor or homeowner and not White Aluminum & Windows. We highly recommend that you consult your local building department for specific building code requirements prior to ordering materials.

It’s always best to visit one of our showrooms and speak to a White Aluminum & Windows Product Specialist in person to order your DIY materials. Please bring your plan and materials list with you.

We will advise you on approximately how many screws, fasteners, amount of caulk, and weather stripping etc, you need according to their plans.

White Aluminum & Windows is not responsible for the wrong type of materials ordered or materials ordered to the wrong size.  White Aluminum & Windows may provide “how to” instructions and basic methods of construction as guidelines per system type such as screen rooms or sunrooms, etc.  We do not offer information such as requirements or restrictions set forth by any City, County, Community or Home Owners Association.

All counter sales are final.
